Randolph AFB, located between IH-35 and I-10, is part of the San Antonio Metrocom. Just northeast of San Antonio, Randolph houses several headquarters including Air Education & Training Command, Air Force Personnel Center, Air Force Recruiting Service, and the Nineteenth Air Force (19AF). Randolph is one of the few bases in the Air Force that does instructor pilot training. Historic and beautiful, Randolph AFB truly is the "Showplace of the Air Force".
